GANGTEY TENT RESORT

A new glamping Experience in Bhutan's high alpine region

The Gangtey Tent Resort, a new lodge in the high-alpine Phobjikha valley, is designed to offer a well-appointed outdoor experience. The lodge accommodations allow guests to stay in safari-grade tents equipped with modern amenities such as en-suite humidifiers—the air can be dry in this high altitude region—while maintaining an authentic connection with nature. Each tent offers privacy and comfort, with plush beds, en-suite bathrooms, and a decor that reflects Bhutanese craftsmanship and style.

Guests at the Gangtey Tented Resort can engage in a variety of activities that allow them to explore the valley and its surroundings. These include guided nature walks, bird watching tours to spot the black-necked cranes (the cranes are only in the valley from November to March), and visits to the nearby Gangtey Monastery, a significant spiritual and cultural site. The lodge also offers experiences such as hot stone baths and traditional Bhutanese meals, providing a deeper experience of the the local culture and lifestyle. The lodge offers a wonderful glamping experience in the Gangtey valley, enabling us to connect guests with with the natural beauty and cultural richness of Bhutan. It offers a great blend of adventure, relaxation, and cultural engagement, making it an ideal choice for those looking to explore Bhutan's pristine environments and unique heritage sustainably.
